Where it landed

Every entry records three separate facts about place, and they routinely disagree. Jurisdiction follows the power — whose authority acted. Locality follows the event — where it physically happened. Scope follows the effect — who it reaches. This page is the second and third of those.

The jurisdictions map answers a different question, and answers it for the whole archive. A federal rule written in Washington and an immigration raid on a Minneapolis workplace are both federal there. Only one of them happened somewhere in particular, and this is the map of the ones that did.
