Delaware
Entries whose effect landed somewhere in Delaware (DE) — a city, a county, a campus, a detention facility — whichever government acted. Federal conduct inside Delaware counts here.
This is not the same set as Delaware's jurisdiction page, which records the 1 entry where Delaware's own government was the acting authority, wherever those events happened. The two overlap and neither contains the other: place and power are separate facts, and statewide acts appear there and not here.

New Castle County Recorder Kozikowski offered $76,295 county job to potential primary challenger Tackett to keep him from filing
On June 24, 2026, New Castle County, Delaware Recorder of Deeds Mike Kozikowski, a six-term incumbent, repeatedly offered County Councilman David Tackett a newly created $76,295-a-year county job during a 90-minute lunch, conditioning the offer on Tackett not filing to challenge him in the September 15 Democratic primary. Tackett secretly recorded the meeting, filed his candidacy immediately afterward, and later filed a formal complaint with the Delaware Attorney General's Division of Civil Rights and Public Trust accusing Kozikowski of "attempted inducement of a prospective political candidate."
